Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Group
This group will begin on Sunday, April 6 at 5:00pm at The Smiley Building in Studio 10 in Durango
The initial focus of the group will be Prajna Paramita, a Nature of Mind practice which Ms. Quayle will teach to students over the course of the first three sessions. The group will continue on most Sundays doing the practice together and receiving further Buddhist teachings.

Ms. Quayle has been on the Buddhist path since 1982. She has studied and practiced in the Theravadan and Vajrayana Buddhist traditions and offers meditation instruction and Buddhist teachings in a variety of settings including classes, dharma groups, retreats, and in private sessions.
Debra is also trained as a Buddhist Chaplain and integrates Buddhist philosophy and practice into her work in prisons, hospitals, colleges, residential treatment centers, and in her own clinical practice as a psychotherapist.
She has gone to India several times on pilgrimage and while living in Asia in 2005 and 2006, she studied at the Library for Tibetan Works and Archives, the Institute of Buddhist Dialects, and the Kagyu Institute for Buddhist Studies as well as doing retreats in a variety of other locations.
Following her return to the U.S., Ms. Quayle met Lama Tsultrim Allione, and has completed many retreats with her, including a three-month solitary retreat at Tara Manadala Retreat Center in Southern Colorado. Through Lama Tsultrim, Ms. Quayle has had the good fortune to receive teachings from Tsoknyi Rinipoche, Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche, Lama Wangdu Rinpoche, Lama Wangdor Rinpoche, Chagdud Khandro and His Holiness the Seventeenth Karmapa. She is one of Lama Tsultrim’s Authorized Teachers and continues to study and practice with her.
