Spiritual mentoring and meditation guidance
A Deeper Connection to Yourself, to Life, and to What You Hold Sacred
One-on-one mentoring in person in Cottage Grove or online from anywhere.
When the bigger questions start calling
Maybe you’ve built a good life and still feel a quiet longing underneath it. Maybe a faith you grew up with no longer fits. Maybe you’ve tried to meditate and couldn’t make it stick, or you’re moving through a transition and want to meet it with more steadiness and meaning.
These questions don’t need to be solved quickly. They need space, honesty, and a companion who has walked the path. No particular belief is required: you only need to be curious.

What spiritual mentoring is, and how it differs from therapy
Spiritual mentoring is a reflective relationship focused on spiritual questions, meaning, values, and contemplative practice. I offer guidance and a welcoming space to deepen your connection with yourself and with whatever you consider sacred, whether you call that spirit, awareness, God, or simply life.
It is a separate, non-clinical service. It does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions and isn’t a substitute for psychotherapy. Each service has its own clear agreement about its purpose and scope. Because mentoring is not therapy, it is open to people anywhere, in person or online, not only in Oregon.
What we might explore together
- Everyday spiritual practice: bringing presence, compassion, and perspective into relationships, work, and hard moments.
- Purpose and meaning: what matters most and how to live in alignment with it.
- Core meditation practices: simple ways to settle the mind and open the heart that you can use daily.
- The science of presence: how the nervous system, heart, and brain work together, and how meditation supports calm and coherence.
- Peace, creativity, and connection: making room for stillness and a sense of belonging.
I draw on Buddhism, Jungian psychology, the New Thought movement, and other wisdom traditions, always in a way that respects your own beliefs.
Who you’ll be learning from
I began my spiritual journey more than fifty years ago, first as a student and later as a teacher of meditation. I have lived and traveled extensively in South Asia, and for more than forty years I followed a Buddhist path. In mentoring, I’m not acting as your therapist. I’m a guide who has spent a lifetime practicing what I teach, and I’m glad to walk alongside you.
